“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”

"To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour."

Hi, I'm Kevin Lin

Photography, for me, is about curiosity and wonder. It pushes me to explore, slow down, and really see the world around me.
Being out in nature with animals helps me step away from society and notice how beautiful and alive the world still is, even in the middle of our busy everyday lives.
Outside of photography, I enjoy spending time with animals, bird watching, hiking, and reading. All of it helps shape how I see and appreciate the world.

How
I photograph outdoors using natural light, focusing on honest moments as they happen. My goal is to capture emotion and story in a way that feels real.
My style is soft, warm, and grounded. Hopefully expressing animals and their personalities in a way that feels true to the moment they were in.
Patience is my number one approach. I let moments happen naturally. The most genuine moments are the ones that come through on their own.

Why
Photography matters to me because it became something I could hold onto when everything else felt unstable. It gave me a place to go when my mind was loud, and a way to exist without being overwealmed.
Out in nature with my camera, things finally made sense. I wasn’t trying to fix anything. I was just observing, breathing. That focus became grounding when I needed it most.
Over time, it became more than a practice. It became something that pulled me through difficult seasons and helped me reconnect with myself.
