Style and Authenticity

Wildlife photography has taught me to slow down, observe carefully, and respect the natural world. I incorporate this insight in my pet photography. How It Works

I offer a few package options to choose from, each include a set number of professionally edited images along with access to an unedited gallery. During your session, you can choose the poses, activities, and tricks you'd like to capture. If you're not sure where to start, I also provide a menu of popular shot ideas inspired by previous clients to help you plan your session.

Venmo an Cash App are preferred. Payment is required before your images move into the final editing and delivery process.

Your images will be carefully selected and edited before being delivered in a private online gallery within 1 week of the session.

Can I be in the photos with my pet?

Absolutely. If you'd like to be included in a few portraits, just let me know during the planning process.

Do you photograph all types of pets?

Yes! While dogs are the most common, I welcome cats, horses, and other companion animals.

Do you photograph working dogs or sporting dogs?

Yes. Whether your dog is a family companion, service dog, hunting partner, or canine athlete, sessions can be tailored to highlight their unique role and personality.

What if my pet won't sit still?

That's completely normal. Patience is part of the process, and some of the best photographs come from natural movement and candid moments.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can be held at a local park, nature preserve, your home, or another pet-friendly location of your choice.

What time of day is best for a session?

Early morning and the hours before sunset typically provide the most flattering natural light for outdoor portraits.

How long does a session last?

Sessions can last anywhere between 20 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on the package selected and your pet's comfort level.

What should I bring to the session?

Bring your pet's favorite treats, toys, water, and anything else that helps keep them comfortable and engaged.

What should my pet wear?

Simple collars, bandanas, or accessories can add personality to your portraits. I generally recommend avoiding anything overly distracting unless it has special meaning.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that fits your style and coordinates with your pet. Neutral tones and simple textures tend to work best and keep the focus on your companion. If you’re joining your pet in the photos, aim to match your pet’s colors or vibe rather than exact outfits for a more natural, cohesive look.

Can I choose which photos are edited?

Yes! After your session, I’ll set aside time for you to go through the images with me and select your favorites for final editing.

Do you offer prints?

While I do not offer prints directly, I am happy to recommend reputable print labs that produce beautiful, high-quality products from your photographs. This allows you the flexibility to choose the sizes and products that best fit your needs.

Will my photos be posted online?

I may share selected images in my portfolio or on social media. If you'd prefer your session remain private, just let me know.
